Kongsberg Geospatial has sold its Integrated Simulation (I-SIM) software suite to ATAC, a leader in air traffic simulation. I-SIM, initially developed for FAA’s Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) in 1998, has been a key tool for high-fidelity air traffic control (ATC) simulations and Human-In-The-Loop (HITL) training. This acquisition will enhance I-SIM’s functionality through the integration of ATAC’s 45+ years of expertise, benefiting FAA, NASA, and other key organizations. Kongsberg Geospatial will continue focusing on its core situational awareness solutions, including TerraLens SDK.

Kongsberg Geospatial is proud to announce the launch of the Digital Aerodrome Air Traffic Services (DAATS) project, a multi-year initiative that underscores our longstanding partnership with NAV CANADA. Hosted at our headquarters, this launch represents both a significant milestone for the DAATS program and an exciting new chapter in our collaborative journey.
